Why this statement reads this way

ChatCums produces no visual depictions of actual or simulated sexually explicit conduct. We do not film, direct, record, store or transmit any broadcast. What is on this site is a catalogue: room names, statuses, tags, thumbnails and links supplied to us through the partner interfaces of the platforms where the broadcasts happen.

Under 28 C.F.R. § 75.1(c)(4), a service that only transmits or provides access to material produced by others is not a producer of it. Our role is that and no more.

Where the records are

For every broadcast listed here, the age and identity records of everyone appearing are held by the operator of the platform on which the broadcast is produced. That operator is the primary producer and the keeper of the records, and each of them publishes its own § 2257 statement and the address of its custodian of records.

The link on each room page leads to the platform that holds those records for that room.

Our own requirements

Every platform we work with requires proof of legal age from everyone who broadcasts, and verifies it before an account can go on air. We rely on that verification, and we do not list a platform that does not perform it.

Complaints of this kind go ahead of everything else: we remove the listing while we look, and we do not wait to be sure before removing it.

We will also pass the report to the platform that holds the records, which is the party able to act at the source.
